Quantum Pure Play (ZPTA)
Zapata Quantum: Post-Restructuring Opportunity
In 2024, six pure-play quantum companies traded publicly (IONQ, RGTI, QUBT, QBTS, ARQQ and ZPTA). All except IONQ were penny stocks until November, when they rallied 500–6,000%.
ZPTA missed that bull run because it halted operations in October due to illiquidity—despite never filing for bankruptcy. Today’s restructuring deal injects fresh capital, wipes its debt, and preserves its portfolio of 50+ granted patents and 70+ pending.
ZPTA plunged from its April 2024 SPAC price of $15.50 to $0.0005 (a 99.997% drawdown). Had it remained live through the late-’24 rally, I estimate it would trade at least 1,000% above today’s level.
The company rebranded as “Zapata Quantum” and plans to regain SEC compliance by Q4 2025, targeting a Nasdaq uplisting.
Chart below shows ZPTA diving in price shortly before the quantum rally:

Initiate a small speculative position in ZPTA to capitalize on the post-restructuring reset and sector momentum. The risk/reward is highly favorable:
Downside: Limited to near-zero (already priced in).
Upside: Multi-hundred to multi-thousand percent potential if sector rotation or corporate developments resume.
This is a time-sensitive opportunity—early movers in distressed tech reactivations often capture the steepest part of the recovery curve.
